More Than 100,000 Toddler Toys Recalled After Hospitalization

Parents, check your toy bin because there’s a new toy recall you’ll want to be aware of.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall on November 13, 2025, of the Zippee children’s activity silicone toy. The reason: it poses a choking hazard to children.

The maker of the toy, Mobi Games, Inc., a Canadian company, says it’s aware of an incident where a child gagged after putting the toy in their mouth, leading to vomiting and choking. The child was hospitalized but, thankfully, did not have any further injuries.

Read on for all the details on the recall and what to do if you have this toy at home.

Zippee Toy Recall Details

The Zippee silicone activity toy is aimed at toddlers. It features a teal flexible cylinder with six different color silicone strings that can be pulled. Five of those have a spherical ball at the end of the string.

About 117,500 units of the toy (and about 25,786 in Canada) were sold on Amazon.com, PlayMobi.com, and other online platforms, as well as specialty toy shops, between November 2019 and January 2024. It retailed for about $20.

“The recalled toy may have the date codes in MMDDYY format ranging from 030620 to 110823 marked inside the toy’s silicone cylinder body,” the CPSC also shares.

What To Do if You Have the Recalled Toy

If you have this toy at home, the CPSC recommends to stop using it immediately. Families are being asked to destroy the toy by cutting the spherical ends off the silicone strings. Then, make sure to write your initials and date on the teal cylinder.

You can contact Mobi Games, Inc. for a full refund. You’ll first need to register the product online to confirm you have the impacted version and also provide a photo of the destroyed toy.

On Instagram, Mobi Games, Inc. says parents can email recall@playmobi.com if they have any questions.
